“None Is Righteous”

Recently there was a poll about mortality.  It seems that 56% of adults said “You can be a good person without divine faith.”  Now I would expect this from non-believers. However, I was surprised to learn that 49% of Catholics and 41% of Protestants also agreed that “Religion is not a requirement for personal morality” Oh really?  Although this is totally antithetical to the bible and is revealed in verses such as; Romans 3:10-18 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of wasps is under their lips.” “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”… Honestly, I agree completely.  Religion is not a requirement for morality...it is only with a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus can we come anywhere close to living a moral life.  Granted we will fail miserably, sometimes daily, but we rejoice in knowing that Jesus has already paid for all of our sins!
