The New Year, In view of Christmas

We've just has a great Christmas celebration, a beautiful time of fellowship and sharing the love of Christ with many from our communities. Christmas marks the first coming of our Savior Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things (John1:1-3) Jesus, is also the one who has recreated us, who believe in Him (2 Cor.5:17). Because of our relationship with God, through Jesus, we celebrated Christmas with an inner intimacy experienced only by those who have God, the Holy Spirit. (Rom 8:16). In that sense, our joy in Christmas, reflects the satisfaction in King David’s words “Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices.”

As we approach the new year, remember Jesus has called us to be “salt and light” of our world (Matt.5:13-16). Meaning we should have an impact on the lives of those around us, for Jesus and His kingdom. QUOTE: “your priorities must be God first, God second, God third, until your life is continually face to face with God.” Oswald Chambers. For my wife Kay and me, we’re wishing you and yours, the joy of all God’s ordained in your 2023. A happy and blessed New Year.
