“Love Letters...”

I do a lot of travelling for the work I do and I remember one trip I was gone for quite some time.  My lovely wife put a paper bag in my suitcase.  In the paper bag were written letters for me to read every single day.  This was before face time and Skype. Though we were thousands of miles away, each day I would read a letter that she made. Each letter had scripture verses, words of encouragement and love.  She wasn’t there; I couldn’t physically see her or touch her.  But, through her letters I was strengthened and knew I was loved.  How much more does our Heavenly Father want to show us through His Word how much He loves us, cares for us, and strengthen us not only during those weak times, but all the time.  After He gave the great commission, the last recorded Words of Christ in the Gospel of Matthew were… “and lo, I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:20).  How awesome and comforting is that!!!
